Vintage Flying Geese Quilt
Vintage large scale flying geese quilt. Made with a variety of shirting/suiting type fabrics hand quilted and has medium weight batting so it has some weight and warmth to it.
Overall this quilt is in good shape, shows normal wear and tear for it’s age. Some fading and fold lines mainly on the backside. The front is stunning! I love the use of the neutrals and pops of bright colors, and the unique textures you get with the yarn dye type fabrics. Please see below for more details on condition. Please note that I have soaked, and cleaned this quilt so it is ready for you to enjoy. Great quilt for your quilt display or for everyday use.
Size: 76.5” x 77.5”
medium weight batting
front side is a mix of shirting fabrics, and suiting type fabrics.
backside is yarn dye plaid
Condition: Good. There is no shattering or major damage. One small tear on one of the blocks. Some fading and fold lines mainly on the backside of the quilt from being stored so long. Some small stains and a rust stain on the back. There is some fraying damage near the edge of the quilt along the binding. Batting is in good shape with no lumping. Please see close up photos of the flaws. Please reach out if you have more questions on this quilt or it’s condition.
